Dr. Lanre Odusote came to Bank Street Animal Hospital following his move to Ottawa in May 2020. He chose to become a veterinarian as a result of his longstanding passion for animal care since age three. He completed his animal science bachelor’s degree (with distinction) in fall 2013 at Penn State University before completing his veterinary degree at the University of Wisconsin in spring 2018. Since entering the profession, he has developed a passion for nutrition, dermatology and behaviour, along with routinely educating pet owners on the importance of spaying and neutering. Of the many joys that veterinary medicine brings, Dr. Lanre most enjoys making a tangible difference in the lives of people through their animal companions. When not at the clinic, Dr. Lanre enjoys the company of his adopted cat, Ezra, as well as reading manga, drawing, photography, language learning, cooking and is an avid board and card gamer.
