  • Dr.
    Kamran Jahangir
    DVM

    Dr. Kamran has been working in Veterinary Medicine since 2001. He works in Internal Medicine and Surgery of dogs, cats, small birds, and rodents. His field of interest is soft tissue surgery.He was brought up with many different pets: dogs, cats, rabbits, parrots, and a falcon. He lives with his wife, two children, and canaries.

    Lanre Odusote
    DVM

    Dr Lanre Odusote DVM graduated from University of Wisconsin in2018 and he has interest in internal medicine cases.

  • Dr. Michael Kim
    Ultrasound

    Dr. Michael Kim, a native of Toronto, ON, graduated from Queen’s University with a
    Bachelor of Science (Honours), Bachelor of Education and Master of Science
    degrees. He graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College (OVC), University of
    Guelph with his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine with Distinction. He underwent a rotating
    small animal internship at Colorado State University. Dr. Kim is also trained in
    performing ultrasound-guided aspirates and biopsies along with other interventional
    techniques. Dr. Kim has worked in several private practice specialty hospitals in the
    GTA and moved to Ottawa in 2014 to join the Alta Vista Animal Hospital whereby he
    became the Director of ICU. His professional interests lie in diagnostic imaging, small
    animal internal medicine, emergency and critical care and pharmacology.

    Orthopedic Surgeries

    Dr. Nick Parker (BVMS, MSC, Diplomates, ACVS), is a board-certified surgeon who consults with our veterinarians on orthopedic cases and performs complicated orthopedic surgeries, such as TPLO, arthroscopy and tight rope procedures. These procedures require specialized training and equipment, so to provide quality care for your pet, we entrust specific cases to the care of a specialized surgeon. We are also able to accept medical referrals from veterinarians in the surrounding region.

    Cassandra has been passionate about animals for a long as she can remember! Starting work in Veterinary Care in 2015, she completed her studies at Boréal College in 2018. Now working in Veterinary Medicine, she can tell you that trough hard work and perseverance, dreams do come true! With a particular interest in surgery, she hopes to help out as many pets as she can! When not at work, she can be found with her six-year old cat Blaze.

    Veterinary Assistant

    Talia (VA), 19, was born in Canada, but raised in a small town in Florida. She grew up working with livestock and was always surrounded by a lot of animals and decided she wanted to work in the veterinary medicine field as a child. Unlike most, she took her veterinary assisting course in high school (grade 9-11) and completed her practical hours her senior year (Grade 12), graduating in 2018 with her vocational degree in veterinary assisting at the age of 18. She has had many pets ranging from chinchillas, to even a snapping turtle, but she currently has a dog, “Dexter”, and a cat, “Misty”. Talia plans on furthering her education soon and become a veterinary technician.
