Jamie

My name is Jamie and I am a client care receptionist. I have been with Bank Street Animal Hospital since late 2021. I graduated from Carleton University in early 2023, where I studied Criminology and Criminal Justice with a minor in Biology. While working here throughout my degree, I discovered my deep passion for the veterinary field despite it being drastically different from what I studied in university. The areas that interest me most in this field are Pharmacokinetics and Pharmacodynamics i.e., how drugs move through and affect the body. The thing I love most about working here is greeting all the clients and patients and being able to take part in making the lives of animals and their owners better. There are happy times, sad times, good times and bad times but at the end of the day, everything we do is always in the best interest of our patients which is what matters the most.
